Biafra: IPOB replies southern group, its leaders


The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has thanked the Southern Nigeria Peoples Assembly for calling for the
immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu

IPOB in a statement said the Southern group and its leaders have demonstrated some level of courage and referred to members of the group and its leaders as men of honour

The Indigenous People of Biafra as appreciated a southern group for calling for the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu from prison custody. The IPOB in a statement on Thursday, October 20, said the Southern Nigeria Peoples Assembly demonstrated some level of courage in their recent demand for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. 

We praise them for the truth, the fathers and elderly statesmen who knows the real foundation of this contraption called Nigeria were calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and others who committed no crime against the government of Nigeria,” 

IPOB said in a statement signed by Powerful Emma. “This proves that we still have fearless people and men of honour in the society,” Emma said.

Emma also said Nigerians cannot afford to sit down and watch the decay of Nigeria’s constitution and the barbaric attitude melted against the citizens.
“It is abnormal that the federal government led by APC released the members of Boko haram the no fourth deadliest terrorist group in the world who killed, maimed, destroyed and the government still holding mazi Nnamdi Kanu and other members of IPOB who committed no crime against anybody in Nigeria,” he said. 

“Therefore, peaceful protest and civil disobedience is allowed in Nigeria and other countries and it is also enshrined into United Nations U.N and African Union A.U charters to pursue legitimately for self-determination which IPOB adopted. 

“The leaders of the SNPA Chief Alex Ekwueme the former vice president, Chief Edwin E. Klark the leader of Nider Delta, Archishop Gbonigi, Chief Femi Okuronmu, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi and others who were in that meeting in Umuahia told president Muhammadu Buhari to release Nnamdi Kanu and others who were granted unconditional release by the court of competent jurisdiction. 

“We thank them for speaking the truth because the truth shall set you free according to the scriptures. “However, the members of the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB worldwide still condemned the illegal detention of IPOB leader and other members who were detained in different prisons and security cells across the country.
