Kano based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has called on banned Kannywood star, Rahama Sadau not to honour the invitation extended to her to visit the Hollywood in Los Angeles, USA. In an open letter he wrote to Rahama on Facebook in Hausa, Sheikh Daurawa described the problem the actress had with Kanywood as trial from God to test her faith.

He added that Islam agrees with people being told to mend their ways when they make mistake. He also suggested that marriage would be better for the actress.

After her ban, US-based musician Akon and Jeta Amata have extended invitation to her to go to Hollywood in the United States. Recall that Rahama had been banned from appearing in films in Kannywood by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) because of her appearance in a video by rapper Classiq. Meanwhile, Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu has seen the error in his earlier statement on the ban of Rahama Sadau from acting.

Nuhu had earlier stated that Sadau’s ban is logical. Saying she belongs to Kannywood, started her career in Kannywood and has violated the ethics and code of conduct of Kannywood by holding hands and falling on the guy’s back. But after the backlash he got for that statement, the well-known actor has changed his view on the issue. He said the ban was harsh.
